How do I wash and iron linen?

Gently: low temperature, a mild detergent, and iron while the garment is still slightly damp.
Washing: Use a delicates or hand-wash programme up to 30°C, with a low spin (400–600 rpm) so the fibre doesn’t shrink.
Detergent: A mild liquid detergent rather than powder, so no residue is left in the weave.
Drying: Hang it in the shade, in natural air. Avoid the tumble dryer.
Ironing: Iron with steam while it’s still slightly damp, on a medium to high setting.
