Groom FAQs

How does the groom suit service work?

We design and make a custom groom’s suit from scratch, for every couple and every kind of wedding.
Free first appointment: We start with a consultation at no charge, where we discuss the date, the venue, the season, the weather and the overall wedding theme.
Unlimited design options: We hold a wide range of patterns for jackets and trousers, and we can design anything from scratch based on your own references and ideas.
Styling that ties the day together: Guided by Argyris Chatzidiakos, we take the wedding dress or the other suit into account, so that the couple works as one visually.

When should I start for my groom suit?

Ideally at least 3 months before the wedding — and better still, 4 to 6.
Why it takes time: Making a bespoke groom’s suit means sourcing premium fabrics, handwork, and a series of fittings.
Limited slots: The atelier takes a set number of orders per period, particularly during wedding season. Once we reach capacity, we don’t take on new projects.
The earlier, the calmer: Booking early secures your place in the production schedule and lets us plan the fittings without time pressure.

What does the styling consultation include?

A personal appointment at the atelier — ideally with the groom and bride together — where we build the whole look from the ground up.
Guidance from the designer: Argyris Chatzidiakos draws on his experience in fashion shows, editorial shoots and bridal styling to steer every decision.
A holistic view: We factor in the location, the time of day, the climate, the décor and above all the style of the wedding dress, so the suit speaks to the whole event.
Designed to your measurements: Instead of an off-the-rack suit, we create a 100% customised result, with fabrics of your choice and a series of fittings.

Can the fitting take place at my own space?

Yes, by arrangement — although most fittings take place at our atelier.
At the atelier: We welcome you to our private space at Mitropoleos 6, Thessaloniki, where we have everything on hand to review fabrics and details and carry out precise fittings.
VIP on-site fittings: If you’d prefer the measurements and fittings to happen at your home, office or hotel, the service is available by special arrangement.
Cost: On-site service carries an additional charge, based on the location, the distance and the number of visits.
